The advantages to using a waterborne spray booth are many. Most customers find that a waterborne paint booth emits fewer particles into the air because they adhere to the water droplets. The particles are not released into the atmosphere, making it better for filters on a waterborne paint booth. Another advantage is that the waterborne paint booths are considered safer because the system is not as volatile and flammable, since water is its major component.
As many automotive and body shops switch to a waterborne paint booth for their operations, they are finding that they are part of a new generation seeking to improve the quality of their business as well as to improve workshop conditions. In addition, they improve the environment by reducing airborne toxins into the atmosphere. Reducing the airborne particles is the prime reason for a waterborne paint booth, which translates into a healthier workplace for employees. There are far less toxins for workers to inhale when painting with a waterborne spray booth.
